The 2015 Santa Run is in the history books now. As always, it’s our way of saying thank you to the citizens of the Centre Region. We owe a special thanks to:
- Joni Teaman Spearly Group (Joni Teaman Spearly, Aliana Hampton Steinbugl, and Lindsey Rimmey) at KBB Real Estate for again supplying all of the food to feed the firefighters and their families decorating the apparatus and making the Run. This includes everything for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- The Hampton family, Dennis, Valerie, Alaina Hampton Steinbugl, Matthew Steinbugl, Carter Steinbugl, and friend Ashley Corvin, for cooking ALL day. Dennis is a Life member of the Alpha Fire Company.
- The Centre Region Council of Governments for allowing us to carry on this tradition.
This year we had a special guest. Former Alpha member and Assistant Chief F. Tom Hand who started this tradition 25 years ago rode in the officers seat of 517 (the Western Route) for part of the convoy. Thank you Chief for coming back to celebrate this with us.
Happy Holidays. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
Update: Google Maps of the routes are available. Click on one of the links available at the end of this post.
