| At approximately 3:30 PM the Alpha's were alerted to 461 Old Fort Rd. in Potter Township to assist Centre Hall Fire Co. with a reported tractor on fire in a barn. Chief 403 arrived on scene and reported smoke showing from the barn. Truck 516 and Tanker 520 responded on the call. Units were placed available at about 5:00 PM. |

| Alphas 'Run for Fun' |
On Memorial Day several Alphas ran in the annual Boalsburg 'Run for Fun'. Some even wore their turnout gear! Despite 80 degree temperatures and high humitidy everyone finished the race, had a lot of fun, and alerted everyone to the upcoming 'Combat Challenge.' Photos are available in the web albums.

Company dispatched at 18:45 hours to a structure fire, gas grill on fire next to the house. Ferguson Township Police officers extinguished the fire with a dry chemical extinguisher prior to Company Arrival. No damage to the house.

At 3:17 PM the Alpha's were dispatched to the Giant Plaza, 255 Northland Center, in Ferguson Township for a landing zone for Geisinger LifeFlight. Centre LifeLink had requested the helicopter to transport their patient. One engine was requested to set up a landing zone in a small grass field in the area. Engine 514 responded on the call and once on scene began to assist with traffic control. When Geisinger LifeFlight landed crew members also assisted with patient transfer from the ambulance to the helicopter.
Crews were available approximately 45 minutes later.

Today at 10:20 AM the Alpha Fire Co. was alerted to a trailer fire at 1137 Blue Jay Ave. Engine 510 arrived on scene to find a working fire in the kitchen area of the trailer. It was also advised that there may be an individual trapped within the trailer. Crews were able to put the fire out quickly and keep the damage to the least amount possible. All searches of the structure turned up no individuals.
Crews operated at the scene for approximately 1 1/2 hours.
