Today the annual structure burn class conluded with live fire evolutions at the State Fire Academy in Lewistown.

This year we used the mid-rise structure to practice fires that occur in high-rise buildings.  Evolutions went very well and everyone did a great job!!  The day was long and tough, but we all had a good time and learned some new things.

Thanks to all the instructors for giving us some great fires and sharing your knowledge of fire fighting with us.

This evening at 17:00 hrs. the Alpha's loaded up in engines 512,513, 511, and truck 517 and headed to Science Park Pool.  Once all apparatus arrived the three engines were strategically positioned around the pool for drafting operations.  The goal was to pump out the pool as much as possible.  Engine 511 supplied the tower so that anyone who wanted to could get some training time on the aerial device.  Thanks to all who attended for the hard work.  Thanks to the Board of Directors at the pool for providing beverages and food.
