Company 5 was dispatched to the 200 Block of E. Nittany Ave. for a mattress fire in an apartment
|

|
500 (S. Clouser) and 501 (Triebold) arrived to find that the mattress
had been removed from the residence but that there was still a
significant smoke condition. Crews from E512 knocked down any
smoldering remains in the room using a PW can and also rescued one cat
from the residence. Crews from T516 performed PPV and E514 staged at
the nearest hydrant.
