| While members of the Alpha's were in Lewistown for their annual burn the stand-by crews from Huntingdon County Station 19, Bellefonte, and Boalsburg were dispatched to 455 Waupelani Dr. for a building fire. |
|
Units arrived on scene to find active fire in the bedroom of an apartment. The crew from Engine 19-1 made quick knockdown of the fire, while crews from Rescue 318 and Truck 216 conducted searches and checked for extension.
For a day former Safety Officer M. Klein was brought out of retirement to handle the duty shift and was dubbed 505.
The fire was brought under control in about 20 minutes and the cause is currently believed to be a candle.
Thanks to units from Huntingdon 19, Boalsburg, and Bellefonte for providing coverage.
