| At approximately 03:00 Companies 5 and 8, Alpha and Pleasant Gap, were
dispatched to a vehicle accident with injuries on Interstate 99 at the
Shiloh Road exit.

| Chief Triebold (501) responded and was advised that this was a possible
rollover. While units were responding EMS arrived on scene and reported
one patient with no entrapment. Chief Triebold held the box to Engine
514 and Engine Rescue 814. Engine 514 arrived on scene and performed
fluid control and cut the battery power to the vehicle. Reports are
that the vehicle was traveling southbound on the Interstate, lost
control, went into the median, rolled end over end, went airborne,
landed on its roof and and somehow ended up in the far northbound lane
facing northbound on its wheels. Amazingly the driver sustained only
minor injuries. Units were placed available approximately two hours
later. |
