Alphas answer two alarm fire on PSU Campus PDF Print E-mail

The Alpha Fire Company was dispatched to a fire call on the Penn State Univesity campus this morning at 04:10 AM. dcp_0943

At 04:10 AM the Alpha Fire Company was dispatched to a fire in Room 315 of the Osmond Laboratory on the main campus of the Pennsylvania State University, University Park PA.  Initial reports from University Police indicated smoke and fire showing.

Mutual aid units from the Boalsburg and Pleasant Gap Fire Companies were also summoned to the scene on a second alarm.

Firefighters found a room and contents involved in the fire.  The fire was declared under control at 04:36 AM.  No injuries were reported and no damage estimate is available at this time.  Investigation into the cause of the fire is still underway.

Units started returning to their stations around 06:00 AM.
