At 15:49 hrs. Company 5 was dispatched to Box 542 in Patton Township
for a motor vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of
Circleville Rd. and Horner Ln
Second Assistant Chief Brown (502) responded as the 911 center advised
of one vehicle into a tree with one patient. Fire Police Captain Wirtz
(570) arrived on scene first and advised of one vehicle off the road
and that he needed fluid control. Engine 514 arrived on scene, checked
for fluids and assisted with patient care. Second Assistant Chief Brown
(502) had command of the incident. Crews operated for approximately 1
hour. The cause of the accident is still under investigation by the
Patton Township Police.
