Truck 517 is a 1989 Sutphen 95 ft. tower, with an 800lb capaticy (same as 516), and a 1500 GPM pump, with 300 gallon water tank. 17 has a full complement of truck company tools: 2 Cutters Edge saws, 2 Partner 1200 saws (both 14"). Ladders: 10ft attic, 10ft A-Frame combo, 40ft bangor, 14ft extension, (1) 16ft and (2) 18ft roof ladders, a 30ft and 35ft extension ladder, the 35 is a 3 fly. One of the first fires that 517 saw was the St. Paul's Church on College Ave.
