Multiple Vehicle Accident |

At around 11:30 AM, during a snow squall that was moving through the area, the Alpha's were alerted to a 3 car vehicle accident in the 4400 Block of N. Atherton St. (Rt. 322), which is just past the intersection of Rt. 322 and Rt. 550.

Engine 514 and Assistant Chief DeArmitt (503) arrived on scene simultaneously and the crew from Engine 514 began evaluating the vehicles involved and patient care. Assistant Chief DeArmitt assumed command until the arrival of Assistant Chief Yocum, at which point Chief DeArmitt assumed operations sector.
Engine 510 arrived shortly thereafter and began assisting with patient care.
In all there were a total of 6-7 patients all with minor to moderate injuries. All patients were transported to the Mt. Nittany Medical Center.
