Captain Kuchmay (595) arrived shortly after in 522 (acting command 534) and assumed command.  Engine 810 took the farm lane to the ‘B’ side of the building while Engine 510 stayed on the hard road.  Multiple hand lines were pulled.  Crews extinguished fire that had spread to a shed abutting the ‘B’ side of the structure and protected the barn on the ‘C’ side form fire extension while extinguishing the trailer fire.

Fire Police controlled the scene and left one lane of the Benner Pike open with alternating traffic.  The Benner Pike is a main road between State College and Bellefonte.

Command placed the incident under control at 2:36 PM.  Crews worked on scene for a total of one and a half hours.
