Mutual Aid Dwelling Fire in Port Matilda |

At 12:58AM the Port Matilda Fire Co., along with Philipsburg Fire Dept., Bald Eagle Fire Co. (Blair County Station 36), and the Alpha's were alerted to the 9000 Block of S. Eagle Valley Rd. for a dwelling fire.
First Assistant Chief T. Walk (1501) went responding and was adivsed of several calls of a working fire. One caller was able to advise that the trailer was unoccupied.

Engine 514 went responding within 2 minutes of the call with a crew of 4. Engine 1510 and Tanker 1515 were the first arriving units and found a well involved trailer and began extinguishment. Assistant Chief Walk arrived and assumed S. Eagle Valley Rd. command.
Engine 514 arrived and assisted with extinguishment and overhaul. Engine 1110 established a fill site to the rear of Station 15, while Truck 1216 came into the scene to assist with overhaul.
The incident was placed under control at 1:36 AM. All units were placed available at 2:31 AM.
