Bellefonte Fire Police Captain 170 arrived on scene and confirmed a well involved structure. Engine 111 and 212 arrived on scene and began a defensive attack. Upon the arrival of fire department apparatus the structure had already collapsed to the ground.
Engine 510 established a fill site for tankers at the entrance to Continental Courts.
As the incident went on command requested 2 additional tankers, bringing in Tanker 1515 from Port Matilda and Tanker 319 from Boalsburg.
Crews remained on scene until approximately 10 AM.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal. The structure did not house any occupants at the time of the fire.
