| Late tonight Assistant Chief DeArmitt came across a vehicle accident with a passenger car into a support pillar of Arby's restaurant at the intersection of College Ave. and Atherton St. in the Borough of State College. Rescue 518 responded almost immediately after dispatch. The rescue crew assisted with patient care, hazard control, and checked the building for any structural damage. The vehicle's driver fled on foot away from the scene. The other occupants had only minor injuries. |
