Tonight the new Aerial Tower 516 arrived to its new home at the Main Station. 516 was ordered over a year ago and is expected to go into service in the near future once driver training and various equipment is mounted. The new 516 is a Sutphen model SPH100 with a 100 foot boom, a six man cab, all LED lighting, over 280’ of ground ladders, dual remote control master stream turrets on the bucket,  slide out compartment trays, interior compartment LED lighting, and many more features.  

At this time the Alphas will retain the old 516 for refurbishment to be determined at a later date.
