At approximately 11:00 hrs. fire police from the Alpha Fire Company were requested to assist the State College Police Department with traffic control at the intersection of College Avenue and Allen Street.  A female pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle at that intersection.  The female was transported to the Mount Nittany Medical Center by Centre LifeLink EMS.

The accident is under investigation by the State College Police.
