At approximately 12 PM the Alpha Fire Co. was dispatched to the construction site across the street from the fire house for a specialized rescue.  Dispatch reported a male that had fallen through a floor.  EMS upon reports of an unstable floor and stairway immediately requested a truck from the Alpha's.

Truck 516 and Rescue 518 responded on the call and arrived within seconds.  Truck 516 set up and raised the boom to the level where the patient was.  Crews from 518 and 516 made access through the inside of the stucture to get to the patient's location.  Crews packaged the patient in the stokes basket and the lowered the patient to ground level.

The patient was taken via Centre LifeLink EMS to Mount Nittany Medical Center.
