MVA Involving Police Cruiser |

| At 3:10 AM the Alpha Fire Co. was alerted to the intersection of S. Garner St. and Easterly Parkway for a vehicle accident with entrapment. Rescue 518 was first to arrive on scene and confirmed entrapment. |

Assistant Safety Officer B. Kurzinger arrived shortly afterward and assumed command of the incident. Engine 510 arrived and assisted with extrication of the patient in the blue car. Engine 514 was transferred to the main station to stand-by.
Extrication was completed in approximately 15 minutes and the patient was transported to the Mount Nittany Medical Center.
The accident involved a State College Police cruiser. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by the State College Police Department.
