Alpha's Assist Boalsburg with Dwelling Fire |

| At 4:47 PM the Boalsburg and Alpha Fire Co. were alerted to Box 352 in
College Township at 157 Villa Crest Dr. for a dwelling fire. Chief C.
Dry (300) of the Boalsburg Fire Co. arrived on scene first and assumed
command of the incident. Command advised of a working fire that was
contained to the kitchen area of the house. |

Engine 310 and 510 arrived on scene and established water supply from 2 sources. Truck 516 took the address and began operating interior with the crew from Engine 310. The crew from Engine 510 assisted with knockdown of the fire that had spread to the exterior porch area and then assisted with overhaul and extinguishment of hot spots on the interior.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the State College Police Department and the Centre Region Fire Marshal.
