For Immediate Release: May 8, 2008 The Alpha Fire Co. is officially releasing their response statistics for the 2007 year and the 1st Quarter of 2008. Here are some of the highlights of the Alpha's performance. The fire company, in 2007, had an average arrival (or on scene) time of 7.3 minutes after initial dispatch. In all instances the fire company was able to exceed the regional targets for response time and personnel, where one has been established. During the 1st Quarter of 2008 the company was also able to exceed the regional targets for response time and personnel. So far in 2008 the company has been able to sustain an average arrival time of 6.9 minutes after the initial dispatch, as well as have an average of 22 personnel responding to calls for service.
