| At about 13:00 today, Company 5 was dispatched for a working mobile home fire at 125 Franklin Manor Lane near Walmart on North Atherton street. Safety Officer R. Kurzinger arrived on scene shortly after dispatched and confirmed with emergency communications dispatch that smoke was pushing from the roof line of the structure. Engine 510 and Truck 516 responded within a few minutes of dispatch. |

While on scene, Kurzinger informed the responding engine of the nearest hydrant location, and instructed them to take the apposing lane of traffic when approaching the scene. Engine 510 laid about 900 feet of 5" supply line, and was positioned to make the attack.
Crews made entry through the front door, and began suppression activities. Truck 516 arrived on scene moments later and began horizontal ventilation of the structure.
5 cats were removed from the structure. No information is available on their condition. The fire was extinguished and property was preserved.
