| At 19:08 hrs on Nov. 26, the Alpha Fire Company was dispatched for a transfer assignment, requesting Truck 516 to transfer to Bellefonte while Companies 1 and 2 were out on a dwelling fire. While en route to Station 2, 516 was dispatched for an automatic fire alarm in a building, 2470 Fox Hill Road. Truck 516, along with Engine/Rescue 414, also en route to stand-by at Station 2 from Centre Hall, investigated the alarm and then completed the transfer to Station 2. At 19:49 hrs, the stand-by crews were alerted for a vehicle accident with entrapment on Bishop Street in the Borough of Bellefonte. Truck 516 responded with Engine/Rescue 414, and arrived on scene to find two vehicles on the roadway, one passenger car with a female driver trapped and one SUV into a utility pole. The crew from 516 controlled hazards and assisted the crew of 414, who completed the extrication of the female patient. Following this call, the truck returned to Station 2 and was released from the stand-by at approximately 23:00 hrs. |
