| At approximately 01:00 hours on December 27 the Company was dispatched to a water flow alarm at 230 W College Avenue. Engine 514 and Truck 516 arrived and were advised by PD of a smoke condition in the lower level businesses on the block. Crews located an active fire in the rear area of an adjacent business located at 224 W College. Engine 510 was requested to lay in and supply a handline to the fire. The fire appears to have originated in the area of an air handling unit and was contained by a sprinkler head. The Centre Region Fire Marshal is investigating. Assisting at the scene were Truck 217, Engine 810, Engine 310, and Rescue 318. |
