At approximately 12:45 PM the Alpha Fire Co. was dispatched to 1305 W. College Ave at Links Pub to a building fire.  Caller was a passerby who stated there was heavy smoke coming from the roof of the building.

Engine 510 arrived on scene first and reported smoke from the roof.  Upon further investigation by the crew from 510 they advised of a working fire.  The crew from Truck 516 began ventilation while the crew from 510 began extinguishment efforts.  Crews were able to quickly knock down the fire.

The cause is currently under investigation by the Ferguson Township PD and Centre Region Fire Marshal.
