This afternoon and evening the Alpha Fire Company was dispatched for vehicle accidents with injuries.  The first accident occurred in Ferguson Township at the intersection of W College Ave and Shingletown Rd at approximately 2:15 PM.  Dispatch reported a car versus motorcycle with one person injured.  Engine 514 responded on the call.  Chief Kauffman (504) arrived on scene and reported minor injuries and no need for the fire department and placed the box available.

Shortly before 7:00 PM the company was alerted for a vehicle accident with unknown injuries on I-99 at Exit 68 in Patton Township.  Rescue 518, Engine 514, and Port Matilda Rescue 1518 responded on the call.  Engine 514 arrived on scene first to find one vehicle in the median with Pennsylvania State Police already on scene.  PSP advised of no injuries and no need for the fire department.  Upon confirming that this was the only accident in the area the box was placed available.
