At approximately 1 AM the Alpha Fire Co. was dispatched to 129 Vivian Way for a working trailer fire. Units arrived on scene to find a well involved mobile home. Engine 510 and Truck 516 immediately began a defensive attack.
Captain B. Bittner arrived and assumed command of the incident.

Engine 514 arrived and established a water supply to Engine 510. The crew from 514 then assisted the crew from 510 with extinguishing the fire. The crew from Truck 517 established at R.I.T. team while Rescue 518 set-up a rehabilitation area.
The fire was knocked down quickly and extensive overhaul was needed before units were placed available.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown and in under investigation by the State College Police and the Centre Region Fire Marshal's Office.
The fire displaced a family of 5.
