Pierce Manufacturing has completed the construction and refurbishment of our 75 foot AerialScope. The unit is currently in transport to our local Pierce Dealer, Tyler Fire Equipment in Elmira, New York so that portable equipment can be installed. A brief rundown of the apparatus upgrades include: New Pierce Arrow XT tandem axle chassis with seating for 6, a 515 HP Detroit Series 60 motor, 6 speed Allison EVS 4000 Transmission, 20 KW Hydraulic Generator, total replacement of the hydraulic system, console and bucket controllers electrical and lighting systems, the complete remanufacturing of the jacking and outrigger system, boom and fly sections and bucket.
