At approximately 1:00 AM the Bellefonte Fire Department was alerted to 211 S. Allegheny St. for alarm bells sounding.  Soon after dispatch it was reported to be a working fire.  Chief F. Bruno (5600) arrived on the scene and confirmed a working fire with entrapment and requested a 2nd alarm assignment.

Truck 516 was due on the 2nd alarm assignment and responded immediately on the call. Once they arrived on scene they were advised to set up for master stream operations.  Command also requested Truck 517 and Truck 1216 to the scene for master stream operations.

Units were on scene for several hours overhauling and extinguishing hot spots.  The cause is currently under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal.

Special thanks to Blair County Truck 33, Tyrone, for transferring to the Patton Township Station while both of our trucks were operating at the fire.
