At approximately 8:30 PM the Alpha Fire Co. was alerted to 653 Westerly Parkway at the State College High School North Building for a building fire.  State College Police were on scene advising of a vehicle fire with extension to the building next to it.

Engine 510 arrived on scene first to find a well involved vehicle with extension to a neighboring maintenance shed on fire.  Crews immediately stretched a handline to begin extinguishment.  Engine 512 arrived and stretched a second line to assist with extinguishment of the fire.

Crews held the fire to the car and attic space of the building.  Items will be salvagable from the building.

The cause of the fire is unknown and is currently under investigation by the State College Police Department and the Centre Region Fire Marshal's Office.
