The crew from 512 pulled at 200’ 1 ¾” pre-connect attack line to the front door. The crew forced entry and were met with rolling fire conditions coming from the kitchen into the dining room area. T-516 was the next unit to arrive and began search/rescue operations, which proved negative, along with ventilation and utilities control.
All the fire was quickly knocked down, marking control shortly after 2300. Crews ventilated horizontally and opened up the walls and ceiling to check for extension. Command scaled back the incident to 512 and 516 to complete salvage/overhaul operations and assist fire investigators. That investigation is continuing. Crews operated for approximately 3 hours.
