Join us at our main station at 400 W. Beaver Ave. in State College, on Sunday, October 10th from Noon to 4pm. 

See the station, meet the firefighters, and view the apparatus.  You can go for a ride on a fire engine, watch the rescue company use the "Jaws of Life" as they demonstrate how we extricate a patient  from a vehicle accident, or get a lift from one of our tower ladders for a high angle view of the station.  You could win a new fire extinguisher or other door prize in hourly drawings.   Kids can learn about fire safety and how to exit a burning building in the fire safety trailer and then watch as a sprinkler system extinguishes a real fire.  We will also be "wetting down" our newest piece of apparatus, Quint 527, a combination ladder truck / pumper.
