| At noon today, Engine 510 was dispatched with Co. 15(Port Matilda) for a vehicle crash with injuries on Interstate 99 at mile marker 63 in WorthTownship. E510 responded on the call with 6 volunteers. While en route, EMS arrived on scene and advised of entrapment and possible trauma arrest requesting fire to expedite to the scene. E510 arrived on scene and began stabilization efforts while EMS worked on the patient, then crews proceeded to extricate the victim utilizing the rescue tools off E510 and Engine Rescue 1514. Once extrication was completed medical command pronounced the patient. |
