At this time Quint 527 was placed on the run. Q-527 and Chief 501 arrived simultaneously confirming EMS’s report. Chief 501 took command and crews started stabilization efforts while R-518 and E-510 arrived. E-510 crew assisted with stabilization and pulled a protection line. R-518 crew utilized the winch to hold the pick up truck in place while other members completed stabilization. Once this was performed firefighters removed the patient to the awaiting LifeFlight crews.
