At approximately 7:15 AM this morning the Alpha's were dispatched to an apartment on fire with possible entrapment at 117 E McCormick Ave in the Borough of State College, PA. Engine 510, Engine 514, Quint 527, Truck 517, Rescue 518 and Command 534 responded on the run with 24 personnel. E510 arrived on scene to a three story apartment building with nothing showing and police dragging out an unconscious victim through the front door. E510’s crew pulled a 200’ leaderline connected to a 150’ 1 ¾” where they found fire in a first floor apartment. As the inside crew was making a knock other crew members threw multiple ladders, ventilated horizontally and performed searches in the fire apartment and adjacent apartments. Searches proved negative and crews were placed available a short time later. 117_e_mccormick_ave_engine_crew
