Sunday May 29th 2011:At approximately 3:30 pm today Company 5 was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident with rollover and entrapment in the College Heights section of State College Borough. Within minutes Rescue Squad 518 and Engine Rescue 514 went enroute with 8 volunteers. Rescue Squad arrived on scene minutes later and found 1 vehicle on its side confirming entrapment. The squad went to work stabilizing the vehicle and initiating patient access. After stabilization was complete, crews removed the patient through a rear hatch on the vehicle and transferred the patient to awaiting EMS. Crews cleaned up and went available.
