At 16: 39 hours Company 5 was dispatched for the vehicle fire.  Engine 510 and Rescue 518 responded immediately with 6 each.  Units had a heavy column of smoke showing while en-route. Chief 502 arrived to find a working vehicle fire with extension into the house and requested the box to be filled out.  The engine arrived and went right to work pulling a line into the house and to the vehicle.  The rescue assumed the truck assignment, throwing ladders, completed a primary and performed vertical and horizontal ventilation.  Engine 514 secured the hydrant and supply 510. Crews knocked the fire quickly; however extensive overhaul was needed in the attic and side c of the dwelling.  Units operated for about 2 hours clearing the scene at 19: 06.
