| The original building that housed the Patton Township sub-station was a township maintenance garage. The sub-station started out as an experimental endeavor. After seeing the success of the station, the Patton Township supervisors offered to build the current building. The current building was completed in April of 2001. The station originally housed a single engine. The station now houses 2 engines and a tanker. The engines housed here are Engine 514 and reserve Engine 511. Tanker 520 is the tanker. The station also has 4 live-in members that help to provide staffing for the engines and tanker. In addition to the 4 live-in rooms there is a bunk room that can accomodate up to 6 firefighters. |
