The call originated as an ambulance only call for an accident with injuries, when police arrived on scene they discovered one patient unresponsive who was confined to the vehicle and requested the fire department.  The crew from Rescue 518 removed the roof of the vehicle and the patient was vertically extricated from the vehicle and taken to an awaiting ambulance.  Engine 514 arrived shortly after the rescue and established an 1 3/4" trash line for protection. 38987
