Firefighter Marciniak died as the result of an accident in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

He joined the Company in October of 2005 and was looking forward to serving the Centre Region through the Fire Company.

Firefighter Marciniak attended The Pennsylvania State University and worked for HRI, Inc. of State College as an Interim Engineer. He was the son of William E., Sr and Kathleen (Dice) Marciniak of Pittsburgh.

Arrangements are being made through Schellhaas Funeral Home , 388 Center Avenue, West View, Pittsburgh. Visitation on Saturday and Sunday, January 7 and 8, 2005, 2-4 7-9. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Incarnation Parish on Monday Jan. 9, 2005 at 10:00 am with Fr. John Bachkay celebrating. Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

The members of the Alpha Fire Company extend their condolences to William's family and friends at this most difficult time. He will be remembered in our thoughts and prayers.
