At 09:13 hrs. Company 5 was dispatched to the 3500 Blk. of Rt. 322 for a vehicle fire.  As Captain Kuchmay (595) was responding he was advised by the 911 Center that they were receiving multiple calls reporting the vehicle to be fully involved.

Chief Clouser arrived on scene and confirmed a fully involved passenger car and assumed command.  Engine 510 arrived and stretched a 1 3/4" trash line to extinguish the fire.  Engine 514 and 512 also assisted on scene with overhaul and mop-up.

Rt. 322 Eastbound was shut down during the fire as well as the College Ave. overpass, which the vehicle was directly under.  College Ave. remained closed until it was deemed safe that there was no damage done to the bridge as a result of the fire.
