Company 5 was dispatched to the 306 Ridge Ave. in the Borough of State College this afternoon for a gas leak
41231 41232

The cause of the leak was a contractor striking an underground gas line behind a residence. Second Assistand Chief Brown (502) assumed command and had E512 and R518 stage near the residence until the gas company arrived and terminated the gas supply. Fire Police shut that portion of Ridge Ave. down to the public. 41233
