| Tonight
the new Engine 510 was placed in service, and not much later Company 5
was dispatched to Pickwick Ave. in Patton Twp. for a dwelling fire. |
 |
|
Engine 510 was the first responding firetruck and
arrived first on scene with First Assistant Chief Triebold (501).
The police department knocked down the bulk of the small fire
caused by an electrical outlet prior to the arrival of fire
units. Crews from 510 removed affected items, terminated
power to that area of the house and 517's crew performed
ventilation. Engines 511and 514 staged at the nearest hydrants.
