The coverage area of the Alpha Fire Company consists of the Borough of State College, the Townships of College, Ferguson, and Patton and The Pennsylvania State University. Along with this, the Alpha Fire Company has mutual aid and automatic aid agreements with several surrounding communities. Our tanker and trucks are placed on automatic dispatch with many other companies who are either in rural areas or need the operations of a truck company. These areas consist of Harris Township, Halfmoon Township, Port Matilda Borough, Gregg Township, Benner Township, plus many other locations where we are on a special call basis.
