Early this morning the Alphas were dispatched to the 200 block of South Sparks St. for a building fire.

The fire started on the 3rd floor when an electric heater set a bathroom towel on fire. Chief Clouser (500) arrived on scene first and established command, shortly after wards Captain Dale (592) arrived and took operations command. Engine 512 followed 592's arrival and laid in from the nearest hydrant. 512's crew investigated inside and found the fire contained to the bathroom and knocked down by maintenance personnel. 592 investigated using the Thermal Imaging Camera to assure no spreading of the fire while Truck 517's crew began Positive Pressure Ventilation.
