| While units were returning to quarters from the Beaver Ave.
call, company 5 was dispatched to assist Port Matilda with a barn fire.
|
| The call originated as a Blair County box, however, upon arrival of
Blair County units it was discovered that it was actually in Centre
County, which made it a Port Matilda box. The barn was a complete
loss. Units were on scene cooling hot spots for a couple of hours.
Units that were requested from Company 5 were Engine 514, which set-up
a fill site, Tankers 519 (cancelled enroute) and 520, and Truck 516
(also cancelled enroute). |
