This afternoon a vehicle accident was reported by a member of Company 3
(Boalsburg) at the intersection of Routes 45 and 26 in Ferguson
Township.
Upon further investigation by the member of Co. 3 it was determined
that one patient was confined to the vehicle. Just before dispatch 1st
Assistant Chief Triebold (501) arrived on scene of the same accident.
Chief Triebold confirmed confinement of one patient and assumed
command. Crews from Engine 510 and Rescue 518 stabilized the vehicle
and "popped" the door to extricate the patient. Engine 514 was placed
in staging upon their arrival in case of any more calls in the
district.
