During the dry runs for our structure burn class the Alpha's were
dispatched to the 100 Block of S. Sparks St. for an accident with
entrapment
|

| Units responded quickly and Engine 514 was first to arrive on scene,
that crew pulled a protection line and began stabilizing the vehicle.
Shortly after their arrival Engine 510 and Rescue 518 arrived and went
to work on patient access and removing the doors on the drivers side.
The accident occured when a pickup truck, traveling through the ally,
struck a passenger car on its drivers side that was traveling on Sparks
St. The cause of the accident is still under investigation by the
State College Police Department. |
