On 07/18/06 Company 5 was dispatched for a specialized rescue on the 100 Block of Timberton Circle.  CCECC advised units that there was a male with a back injury stuck on a roof of a private dwelling.  First Assistant Chief Triebold (501) arrived on scene and assumed command with Captain Kuchmay (595) taking the rescue operations.  Truck 516 positioned itself alongside the structure and set the bucket to the ridgeline.  Crews from Rescue 518 and Engine 514 established an anchor point on the ridgeline and assisted Medic 25 in packaging the patient.  The patient was placed in a KED and the SKED and lowered off the roof onto ground ladders via a belay system.  The patient was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center.
