This is just one of the many carnival based Fire Company parades around central
Pennsylvania that the Alpha Fire Company participates in each year. It is a
chance for the members of this department to show our support for our brother
fire companies.
Tower 516 won “Best Appearing and/or Equipped Aerial Truck.
This year is especially important for the ‘8 house’. Next month the Pleasant
Gap Fire Company will be opening its new station located adjacent to their fair
grounds, a building that has been in the planning and design stages for three
decades.
The Pleasant Gap Fire Company is planning a new station dedication in September.
Watch company 8’s web page (www.fire8.com) for details.
