At 12:22 Co. 15 (Port Matilda) was dispatched for a wild fire on Silverdale Rd. A couple of minutes later it was upgraded to building fire because the fire had spread to a nearby garage.

Captain 1505 (Connor) arrived on scene and reported a fully involved garage and called for a second alarm. The crew from 520 set up a portable pump while 514's crew prepared to supply 914 from a drop tank. Engine 914 and truck 216 made a quick knock on the fire and checked for extension in the nearby house. The crews from 518, 514, and 517 assisted the crews from 914 and 216 with overhaul. Brush trucks 125 and 925 took care of the wild fires with the help of 1210. Engine 810 established the fill site in Unionville. Units operated on the scene for approximately 2 1/2 hours.

Captain 1505 had command and apparatus operating on the scene were: Engines 914, 514, 1210, and 810, Trucks 216 and 517, Rescue 518, and Tankers 219, 520, 619, and 1119, Brush 125 and 925.
